Nic Araya

Exercise Physiologist

Available at: Beenleigh and Cleveland
  • Musculoskeletal & Metabolic Health Focus
  • Strength & Science Enthusiast

Nic’s path to allied health began with growing up on a large family farm in Central Queensland, where they grew grapes, lychees, citrus, cotton and cattle, Nic developed a fascination with nutrition, the human body, and how to improve health and performance. That curiosity evolved into a passion for helping people move better and feel stronger.

Now a key part of the Physiodynamics team, Nic’s work focuses on musculoskeletal injuries and metabolic health. He loves the satisfaction of helping clients reduce pain, rehab injuries and unlock their physical potential – blending the science of movement with a relatable real-world approach.

One of Nic’s proudest career moments involved a long-term client who had a history of knee dislocations. Her goal was to return to dancing but she was afraid of re-injury. Through consistent rehab and strength work, Nic helped her regain confidence and she’s still tangoing pain-free today, maintaining her program to stay strong.

Outside the clinic, Nic keeps busy with a mix of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, strength training, astronomy, gaming, cars, and a killer gym playlist. He’s also a devoted dad — nothing brightens his day more than his daughter.

When it comes to coffee Nic’s a man of routine a large cappuccino is non-negotiable every morning.

His advice for anyone starting their rehab journey?
“Focus on what’s within your control and make sure you do that rehab”
